Niall Dammando is currently serving as a Policy and Strategy Advisor to the National Housing Crisis Task Force, where he is working with cities to expand their housing supply through increased utilization of public land and innovative housing financing mechanisms. He comes with almost a decade of experience working across the public and private sectors on issues intersecting housing, energy, and public finance. Niall has worked in the Secretary’s Office at U.S. HUD and the Office of Tax Policy at U.S. Treasury, where he developed policy enabling the creation of low-carbon affordable housing and a number of IRA clean energy tax credits. Prior to joining the federal government, Niall served as a Chief of Staff in Governor Ned Lamont’s administration and spent four years working in management consulting. Niall holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA from the University of Connecticut.
