Senior Advisor Emily Collins works to develop and operationalize complex, interdepartmental and intergovernmental projects in pursuit of Mayor Bibb’s vision for an all-of-government approach to public safety, neighborhood revitalization, and municipal service modernization. She has crafted the City’s approach to resolving residents’ unsheltered homelessness; reformed the City’s lead-safe living environments programming; and seeded the growth of innovative, affordable housing models on City land bank lots.
Emily Collins joined Mayor Bibb’s administration in October of 2023 after serving as Strategic Advisor to Mayor Daniel Horrigan in Akron, Ohio. Prior to her public service work, she practiced public interest environmental law and taught environmental law, policy and ethics. Emily received her Juris Doctorate in 2004 from Pace Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in 2001 summa cum laude from New York University. She is originally from the Allegheny foothills in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
