Donovan Dixon

Donovan Dixon joined the National Housing Crisis Task Force as a Policy and Strategy Advisor in December 2025. A Philadelphia native, Donovan has worked across the local, state, and federal government levels. Most recently, Donovan served as a District Representative for Pennsylvania State Senator Art Haywood. There, he led an initiative to move lower-income Philadelphians into high-paid positions through upskilling, apprenticeships, and job placement programs. He previously worked for former First Lady Jill Biden, the U.S. Department of State, the African American Mayors Association, and former New York City Council Members Robert Cornegy and Carlina Rivera. Donovan graduated from New York University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy. In 2025, he completed a Master of Public Policy from Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Policy Research at Oxford, where he is a Rhodes Scholar. In his free time, Donovan enjoys running, reading lots of nonfiction, and going to concerts.
